COUNTY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Trans Nzoia County Executive Committee is the custodian of the county’s Executive authority. The members of the Executive Committee are appointed by the County Governor and upon approval by the County Assembly, they assume office.
They are accountable to the County Governor for the performance of their functions and exercise of their powers. The functions of the County Government are set out in the Fourth Schedule of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Based on these devolved functions, the Trans Nzoia County Government has 10 departments to perform devolved functions.
